HPV also known as Pedal Prix
	HPV stands for Human Powered Vehicle
	HPV regulations and requirements vary depending on the organiser. In all cases though the sport functions on the ability of the rider to travel a course in the quickest of times. Added to that is a short change over where driver swaps are kept to a minimum in pit lane. Safety at all times is paramount and riders must adhere to set regulations that are based on OH&S / WH&S regulations.
	It is a sport where:
		road manners are stressed,
		basic rules of the road are expected and adhered to
		marshalls guide the use of the track and instil in riders the wearing of appropriate safety wear
		a riders stamina is challenged
	Each event tests the skills of all riders, pit crew and team support staff. It is a team sport where the weakest section can bring disaster to a team when you least need it.
